Wednesday October 26th, Detroit Michigan — At the final night of the 2017 NMSDC Annual Conference and Business Opportunity Exchange, ATR International was presented with the Supplier of the Year Class IV Award.Supplier of the Year is the highest honor given by the NMSDC to its MBEs, to recognize growth and development, operational success, support of other minority businesses and active participation in the community.
On Friday, May 12th, ATR International was honored to attend the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council’s (WRMSDC) annual Excellence in Supplier Diversity Awards Banquet. As an active member and supporter of the WRMSDC’s goals and objectives, this annual event is one of the highlights of the year. Next week is the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s Conference and Opportunity Fair in San Antonio, Texas. Angelique Solorio, our Corporate Outreach Diversity Manager, will be attending along with Fran Garfinkel, one of our Account Executives. We’ve been a member of the NMSDC for over 20 years and our pending attendance at the conference got me thinking about being an MBE and the importance of organizations like the NMSDC.
