Part 3 of our 5 part end-of-the-year series about the things we appreciate here at ATR.Read More
What a great time of year this is! Each day seems to bring another holiday treat to tempt us or party to attend. Lights twinkle and decorations brighten the scene everywhere. For most of us the season is filled with opportunities for fun with family and friends, and amidst all the festivities, it is a time for celebration and reflection. It is a time to count our blessings and to remember those less fortunate than us. This year for the first time, ATR worked with Toys for Tots. Founded by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, the organization collects unwrapped gifts during October, November and December and distributes them to children in the community.
This week most of us will take a well-earned break to gather with family and friends to give thanks for our many blessings. I’d like to first acknowledge and thank those who will not be relaxing on Thursday but will instead be on the job – our military personnel, police, fire and other safety workers, and those providing care and respite to patients in health care facilities. I also want to take this opportunity to thank my employees for their hard work throughout the year. ATR is successful only because of the many individuals who work together to serve our clients. I am thankful and privileged to work with such dedicated colleagues.
Recently, ATR was honored by Wells Fargo with its Community Support Award for our efforts in the Charlotte, Minneapolis, and San Francisco communities over the past six years. We were also recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) receiving its inaugural Hall of Fame Award for our support in 2010-11.
