On September 20-21st, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) is holding the 2012 Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Summit in San Diego, CA. I’ve been a member of SIA for years and have attended various conferences, some since their inception, so I am very pleased to report that ATR International has joined as a sponsor of the CWS Summit this year. The Summit is geared towards corporate buyers of contingent labor and will provide tools and strategies that can really help you manage your contingent workforce.
This annual conference focuses on best practices and practical solutions for HR, procurement, IT or category management professionals. I understand that there are many different options out there, and only so much time and budget, but you might want to consider this one. Whether you have an established program or are just starting out, internal or external MSP, US or global, there is something that applies to you. There are sessions on expanding your program into Asia or Latin America, on Data Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Building a Diversity Program, Pricing Strategies and more. One of the general sessions, the 2012 Case Study Competition, asks program managers to submit their stories and will provide a unique opportunity to learn from other successful programs. Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman will deliver a keynote address on how Developing Markets will affect the future of the workplace.
It’s a great opportunity to share and learn from each other, and to take advantage of face to face conversations in this increasingly online, virtual world we live and work in. I will be attending along with many members of my team and I hope that we’ll see you there!
